“My labor started in the afternoon. After a couple of hours wondering if I was in labor or not, I called Jody to see what she thought. Once labor picked up Jody was there by my side. She followed me around with my speaker playing affirmations and reassuring me of how strong I was. She kept my water full and made me a lite snack . As I laid over my yoga ball, she massaged my back and offered quiet and loving reassurances. We got to the birth center and Jody supported me in the same ways. She recommended I get in a warm shower. That was amazing and calmed me greatly. When pushing came, I got in the tub and asked Jody to pray. She said the most comforting and heartfelt prayer and we brought our baby into the world. My husband was very comfortable with her and appreciated her help so much. Our birth experience was amazing and we are so grateful for the experience that she helped us have. I highly recommend Jody and will definitely be using her with my next baby!”
